The Altamont Girls Golf Team season has sadly come to an end today. The team shot a 512 at Effingham Country Club for the 1A Effingham (St. Anthony) Regional. Sophia Pearcy led the team with a 109. Gabby Weishaar shot a 120, Cecilia Pearcy shot a 123, and Emma Sphar shot a 160.

After golf practice Monday evening, the Altamont Golf Team recognized six seniors. The seniors were recognized after golf practice since the senior night match last week was cancelled due to the weather.

Altamont Boys Golf Team shot a 186 at Ramsey Lake Golf Course Thursday. Leading the team was Evan Elam with a 43. Joel Bauer shot a 46, Alex Walker shot a 47, Tyler Ruffner and Charlie Goeckner both shot a 50, Owen Reardon shot a 54, and Cooper Hankins shot a 58.
Bryce Gillock from Ramsey with the match medalist with a 40 and Dylan Yeske and Max Reiss both from Ramsey tied for the match medalist runner up both with a 42.

Altamont Girls Golf Team shot a 217 at Ramsey Lake Golf Course Thursday. Leading the team was Sophia Pearcy with a 48. Gabby Weishaar and Cecilia Pearcy both shot a 54, Emma Sphar shot a 62, and Meghan Goeckner shot a 65.
Annabelle Click from Ramsey was the match medalist with a 47 and Sophia Pearcy was the match medalist runner up. Way to go Sophia!

ACHS Sports September 30th-October 5th

Friday's Baseball game against Christ Our Rock Lutheran has been cancelled due to a conflict in their schedule. We have rescheduled the game for Tuesday, October 1st at 4:30pm at ACHS.

Golf today canceled.
Fall Baseball postponed until tomorrow, Wednesday, September 25th @4:00pm at South Central.

ACHS hosted a financial aid and FSA ID completion night for seniors and their guardians. We had around twenty students/families take advantage of this opportunity.

NHS blood drive in the Altamont High School gym. September 30th, 8:15 AM to 2:00 PM.

ACHS staff enjoyed a potluck lunch to celebrate September birthdays before getting to work on their inservice activities.


Altamont Boys Golf Team shot a 188 at St. Elmo Golf Club Thursday. Leading the team was Joel Bauer with a 46 and both Hayden Summers and Tyler Ruffner shortly after him with a 47 each. Alex Walker shot a 48, Kamryn Wolfert shot a 51, and Charlie Goeckner shot a 55.
Altamont did beat Shelbyville 188 to 195. Will Nohren from Shelbyville was the match medalist with a 43. Joel Bauer and Hampton Petska from Shelbyville tied for the match medalist runner up with a 46.

Altamont Girls Golf Team shot a 234 at St. Elmo Golf Club Thursday. Leading the team was Sophia Pearcy with a 52 and Gabby Weishaar shortly behind her with a 54. Cecilia Pearcy shot a 61, and Emma Sphar shot a 67.
Sophia Pearcy was the match medalist.
