Altamont Golfer, Mason Schaub, unfortunately came up short at the IHSA Class 1A Monticello Sectional today at the University of Illinois Orange Golf Course. He shot a 90 and the cut to make state was 77.

Join us TONIGHT, Thursday, October 1, at Dieterich High School as the community comes together to support Rebecca Lankford and Kristen Kennedy and their families. 💙
Rebecca, a mom of three and Dieterich High School parent, is battling a rare and aggressive form of melanoma that has spread to her bones. Kristen, a mom of three Dieterich elementary students, is battling colon cancer. Tonight is about showing both families that they are not fighting alone. 💙
There will be LOTS of ways to support them throughout the evening:

• $1 per ticket or 6 for $5
• An incredible variety of baskets are available, with more still coming in!
🍔 PORK BURGER SALES
• $4 burger
• $5 meal with burger & chips
🧁 BAKE SALE
• Goodies available for a donation

💙 ALL PROCEEDS WILL SUPPORT THE LANKFORD AND KENNEDY FAMILIES.

The Altamont Boys Golf Team shot a 345 at Quail Creek Country Club for the 1A Robinson Regional, which got them 7th place overall. Mason Schaub shot an 83 to lead the team, which he is advancing to sectionals as an individual. He will play at the 1A Monticello Sectional at the University of Illinois Orange Golf Course. The rest of the team, the season has sadly ended. Cooper McManaway shot an 85, Henry Niermann shot an 87, Evan Elam shot a 90, Hunter Grobengieser shot a 105, and Carter Boehm shot a 109.
