Altamont Boys Golf Team shot a 170 at Oak Glen Golf Course, which got them first place. Leading the team with a 41 was Mason Schaub, which got him second place overall. Harrison Lash shot a 42, Henry Niermann shot a 43, Evan Elam and Hunter Grobengieser both shot a 44, Cooper McManaway shot a 45, and Chase Pals shot a 46.
Altamont Girls Golf Team shot a 230 at Oak Glen Golf Course, which got them second place. Cecilia Pearcy and Kenzie Zumwalt both led the team each shooting a 55. Jocelyn Pearcy shot a 57, Meghan Goeckner shot a 63, and Luella Hartleroad shot a 71.
Altamont Boys Golf Team shot a 350 at Quail Creek Country Club at the Robinson Boys Golf Invitational, which got them 6th place overall. Leading the team with an 82 was Mason Schaub. Evan Elam shot an 85, Hunter Grobengieser shot a 91, Harrison Lash shot a 92, Henry Niermann shot a 96, and Cooper McManaway shot a 99.

Altamont Varsity Boys Golf Team shot a 165 as a team at their home match, which got them first place overall. Mason Schaub and Evan Elam both shot a 40 to lead the team and they both tied for first place individual overall, which Mason won with the scorecard tiebreaker. Chase Pals shot a 42, Henry Niermann shot a 43, Hunter Grobengieser shot a 44, and Harrison Lash shot a 45.
Altamont JV Boys Golf Team shot a 199 as a team, which got them third place overall. Leading the team with a 48 was Nolan Winter. Jackson Pagone and Cooper McManaway both shot a 49, Riley Scholes shot a 53, Henry Grasher shot a 60, and Eli Bowman shot a 61.
Altamont Varsity Girls Golf Team shot a 240 as a team at their home match, which got them second place overall. Leading the team with a 54 was Kenzie Zumwalt. Cecilia Pearcy shot a 57, Jocelyn Pearcy shot 63, Meghan Goeckner shot a 66, and Luella Hartleroad shot a 68.

A special thank you to ACHS students Elise Osteen and Masen Thompson for performing the National Anthem at the Thresherman Show at the Effingham County Fairgrounds today!
Our students also took part in a special 9/11 tribute, honoring the lives lost and the heroes who stepped forward on September 11, 2001.
We are proud of our students for representing Altamont with pride and helping keep the spirit of patriotism and remembrance alive.

History was made Friday night as the Altamont Indians captured the FIRST EVER Altamont Soccer Tournament Championship! 🧡🖤
The Indians battled their way through the tournament and capped off the night with a 3-1 victory over the ALAH Knights to claim the championship!
What a way to make history! 👏🔥
Congratulations to our players and coaches on an incredible tournament and a championship that will always be the first!
