The Altamont Girls Golf Team season has sadly come to an end today. Cecilia Pearcy shot a 109 and Emma Sphar shot a 121 at Colonial Golf Course for the 1A Sandoval Regional. Congratulations on a great season, girls!

🎓✨ Altamont Community High School was proud to host our College Fair last Thursday! All of our students had the opportunity to attend and connect with representatives from over 15 colleges and military branches. Our guests shared valuable information about future opportunities and pathways after high school. We are especially grateful to the colleges and military representatives who not only gave their time and knowledge but also brought along prizes for our students. Thanks to their generosity, 24 students walked away with giveaways! Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success for our students’ futures! 🧡🖤

Altamont Girls Golf Team competed at the University of Illinois Blue Golf Course at the John Macek Girls Golf Invitational hosted by Champaign Centennial High School. Leading the team with a 113 was Cecilia Pearcy. Emma Sphar shot a 132.

Altamont Girls Golf Team competed at Ramsey Lake Golf Course. Leading the team with a 51 was Emma Sphar. Cecilia Pearcy shot a 53.

Altamont Boys Varsity Golf Team shot a 179 at Ramsey Lake Golf Course, which they fell to Ramsey. Leading the team with a 42 was Joel Bauer. Henry Niermann shot a 45, Mason Schaub, Kamryn Wolfert, and Evan Elam each shot a 46, and Harrison Lash shot a 48.

Altamont Boys JV Golf Team shot a 207 at Ramsey Lake Golf Course, which they fell to Ramsey. Leading the team with a 45 and earning third place was Hunter Grobengieser. Cooper Hankins shot a 50, Carter Boehm shot a 55, and Grant Suckow shot a 57.

🌮⚽️ A huge thank you to Puerto Vallarta for fueling up the Indians Soccer team before our matchup with St. Anthony – Effingham! The meal gave us the boost we needed to power through a rain & lightning delay and come out with a 3-0 victory! 🧡🖤

We had a great turnout with over 50% of seniors in attendance, working hard to prepare for their futures. 💻📚 A special thanks to Lake Land College for giving such an informative presentation and supporting our students on their next steps. 👏 We’re proud of our seniors for taking this important step toward their future success! 🎓✨

Altamont Boys Golf Team shot a 189 at Kaskaskia Country Club in Arcola, which got them third place. Mason Schaub and Harrison Lash both lead the team each shooting a 45. Evan Elam was not to far behind them as he shot a 47. Henry Niermann, Hunter Grobengieser, and Carter Boehm each shot a 52.

Altamont Girls Golf Team competed at Fore-Way Golf Course at the St. Anthony Girls Golf Invitational. Leading the team with a 49 was Cecilia Pearcy and Meghan Goeckner shot a 64.

Altamont Boys Golf Team shot a 250 at Charleston Country Club, which got them tenth place at the Charleston High School Trojan Scramble. Leading the team, with a 78, was Kamryn Wolfert and Joel Bauer. Evan Elam and Henry Nierman shot an 84. Mason Schaub and Carter Boehm shot an 88.

Our JV Lady Indians left it all on the court in the Home Tournament Championship, taking down Teutopolis in a nail-biting 3-set thriller!

We were proud to honor our five incredible seniors: Joel Bauer, Dayton Tabbert, Emma Sphar, Kamryn Wolfert, and Brock Wendling. Thank you for your dedication, leadership, and all the memories you've made on and off the course. Congratulations on a great season — finish strong, and best of luck in all that lies ahead. The boys shot a 186 as a team, which they tied with Dieterich, and the tiebreaker went to Dieterich. Leading the boys team with a 41 was Chase Pals, which earned him second place. Hunter Grobengieser was not far behind, as he shot a 43, which earned him third place. Joel Bauer and Evan Elam both shot a 46, Harrison Lash and Henry Niermann both shot a 47, Mason Schaub, Cooper Hankins, and Carter Boehm each shot a 49, Dayton Tabbert shot a 50, Brock Wendling shot a 53, Grant Suckow shot a 54, Kamryn Wolfert shot a 56, and Garrett Flood shot a 58.

Leading the girls team with a 57 was Cecilia Pearcy, which earned her third place. Emma Sphar shot a 64, and Meghan Goeckner shot a 71.
